Marilyn J. (Moore) O'Connor, 87, of Auburn, died Sunday March 25th in St. Mary Healthcare. Her husband of 66 years, James E. O'Connor, Sr. died in 2016. She is survived by her two sons, James E. O'Connor, Jr. and his wife, Diane, Richard O'Connor and his wife, Charlene; her daughter Carol A. Zmayefski and her husband, Ronald all of Auburn; seven grandchildren and eleven great-children and many nephews and nieces.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Ralph F. and Marion E. (Underwood) Moore. Marilyn had at one time worked as a printer for American Bank Stationary. She was a member of North American Martyrs Church; and enjoyed, cooking, knitting, trips to Stone Harbor, NJ and Daytona Beach and time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of St. Mary Healthcare for their kindness, care and compassion shown for the past four years.
Her funeral is Thursday, March 29th with a service at 11:30 a.m. in O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Auburn.
