Robin J. (Carpenter) Leahy, 78, of Bellingham passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, March 25, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Terry Leahy for the past 25 years.
Robin was born in Boston, MA on May 5, 1939 to the late Keith and Mary (Fitzgerald) Carpenter. She grew up in Boston and graduated from Brighton High School with the class of 1958.
Before her retirement, Robin worked as a Payroll Manager for Fenwal Electronics in Framingham for many years. In her spare time she loved being with her family.
Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Richard K. Leahy and his wife Liane of Berlin, Alice M. Connolly and her husband Ed of Norton, Walter S. Leahy and his wife Kathleen of Plainville, and Christine M. Leahy and her husband Todd of Bellingham.
She is also survived by her sister Alice Hibbert of ME and eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday, March 29 at Noon in the Ginley Funeral Home, 131 Main Street, Franklin.
Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Franklin.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 5-8 pm in the funeral home.
