Albert Lee “Buster” Lucas, 63, of Tifton passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018, at his residence. A graveside funeral service will be held for Mr. Lucas at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where he will be laid to rest. Dr. Danny Ray will officiate. The family will receive friends Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born October 5, 1954 in Tifton, Mr. Lucas was the son of the late Albert Lovejoy Lucas and Geraldine Wilcox Lucas. He was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Shelby and James Henemyre. He was a painter and a carpenter and a veteran of the United States Air Force from 1973-1974.
Mr. Lucas is survived by his children and their spouses, Stacie Lucas of Ty Ty, Megan and Jamie Hester and Damien and Tracy Lucas, all of Tifton, Fallon and Josh Beverly and Darla Jo Lucas, all of Scooterville; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Linda and Charles Ford and Joy Dean Ellis, all of Albany and Vicky Lucas Hayes of Tifton; his grandchildren, Diego, Hallie, Logan, Emma, Joanna, Christian, Kayla, Katie, Mason, Zayne, Kane, Shianne, Cameron, Autumn Jo, Madison, Alana, Leah, Shelby, Jody, Rihanna and Trace; his great-grandchildren, Landyn, Mia, Chealsii, Jacorey, D. J. and Adrean; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, who loved him very much.
