Elizabeth H. (Hedlund) O'Connor, 91, of Dartmouth passed away Saturday March 24, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert V. O'Connor.
Born and raised in Natick, the daughter of the late Carl and Frances (Brunelle) Hedlund, she resided in Dartmouth since 1966.
She was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth.
Mrs. O'Connor was a graduate of Walnut Hill School in Natick and Westbrook College in Portland, Maine.
She is survived by five children, Kathleen E. O'Connor, Mary C. Audet and her husband David, Robert V. O'Connor, Jr., and his wife Olga, and Paul E. O'Connor and his wife Darlene, all of Dartmouth, and David K. O'Connor and his wife Janice of Rochester, NH; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday March 28 at 9 AM at St. Mary's Church, South Dartmouth. Burial will follow in South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
