Susan V. Kianski, age 60 of Whitman, died Tuesday March 20, 2018 at the South Shore Hospital. A daughter of the late Henry and Katherine (Heney) Kianski, Susan was born in Brockton and lived in the city for over forty years.
After attending St. Patrick’s Parish School, Susan graduated from Cardinal Spellman High School in 1974. She was also a graduate of Massasoit Community College.
Susan had been a member of the extended BAMSI family for over forty years; and cherished the life-long friendships that she made there. Beginning in 1993, she had lived in a home on West Chestnut Street in Brockton. Later and for several years, she lived at The Residence at 87 Stetson Street in Whitman.
Susan had many diverse interests and enjoyed Bible study, Bingo, trivia, beach vacations and traveling to Florida. Her artistic talents included making jewelry, painting, drawing and letter writing. She also had an interest in fashion, shopping and makeup.
Susan will be remembered as a loving, nurturing, considerate, kind and prayerful woman who enjoyed family gatherings and activities with friends.
Susan was the sister of Lorraine Buckley of Naples, FL, and her husband the late Paul Buckley; and John Kianski of Quincy. She was the aunt of Anna Holler and her husband Jay of Concord, CA; and the late Kait Buckley. She also leaves her great nieces Bunny and Lila Holler of Concord, CA and many cousins.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 10am-12pm followed by a funeral service in Conley Funeral Home.
