Donald F. Demone, 81, of Londonderry, NH, passed away on Tuesday March 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family in Warde Health Center in Windham, NH. He was born in Somerville, MA on January 4, 1937, a son of the late Simeon and Estella (Wiles) Demone. Don loved his work as a carpenter where he worked as part of the Boston Carpenters Union. He was an avid sports fan, who enjoyed rooting for all the local teams. Don loved to work outdoor and tend to his yard. Most of all Don was a devoted family man. He loved spending time with his family and seeing that everyone was taken care of.
He is survived by his four children, Doreen Demone and her significant other Jim Brown, Gary Demone and wife Johnnah, Dawn Rouse and her husband Jay, and Nicole Cheney, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Judith A. (Phelan) Demone in 2011.
Following cremation, a memorial calling hour was held on Saturday March 24, 2018 from 11 am – 12pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry. A memorial service followed at 12:00pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the MSCPA, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
