Miguel Meraz-Lopez, 40, of Prosser, passed away Sunday, March 18, 2018 at his home.
He was born in La Barranca Del Potrero, Michocan, Mexico to Aureliano and Genoveva (Lopez) Meraz. He came to the United States in 1999 and worked as a cattle rancher for Terry Christianson in Prosser and was currently working at the Toppenish Sales Yard. He was a hard worker and enjoyed working with cattle.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Miguel is survived by his parents; five brothers; five sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jesus Martin Meraz-Lopez.
Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, March 23rd at Prosser Funeral Home. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 noon on Saturday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Grandview.
