Rita J. Rainville, 93, formerly of Cullen Hill Rd. Lincoln died Saturday March 17, 2018 at the Holiday in Manville.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Silva and Ida (Gonze) Levitre. She was raised in Woonsocket and lived in Lincoln since 1971.
Rita was employed as a bookkeeper at Schoolhouse Candy Company in Pawtucket for over 25 years before retiring in 1998.
Rita was a longtime communicant of St. Joseph’s Parish in Ashton. She loved music and playing the piano. Rita truly relished family gatherings especially the annual Christmas celebrations that bought together the extended family.
Rita is survived by two sisters Laurette Hebert and Dolores Lafleur both of North Smithfield and was the sister of the late Albert, Bertrand, Giles, Gaston and Gerard Levitre, Liette Turcotte and Dorothy Levitre. She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday March 24th at 11:00 am in St. Joseph’s Church, 1303 Mendon Rd. Cumberland. Burial will be private.
