Dorothy Perkins Riner Hale, 86, of Tifton passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 23, 2018, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. James Yarbrough and the Rev. Dan Robinson officiating. Mrs. Hale will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Hale’s family members will serve as pallbearers.
Born October 18, 1931 in Colquitt County, Mrs. Hale was the daughter of the late Brady Perkins and Mae King Blair. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Ronald Deen Riner; and her second husband, Hugh T. Hale. Before retiring, she was employed as a lab technician at Modern Fiber Textiles and was a member of Harding Methodist Church.
Mrs. Hale is survived by her children and their spouses, Steve Riner and Larry and Jacquie Riner, all of Tifton, Randy and Debbie Riner of Eldorado, Gail and Neal Lott of Tifton, Larry and Beth Gallman of Conyers, Donnie and June Gallman of Homerville, Janet and Ferrell Smith of Homerville and Wanda Simpson of Conyers; one sister, Christine McAllister of Tifton; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
