Isabel Dominguez, 86, of Ventura, passed away at her home on Thursday, March 15, 2018.
Isabel was born on January 18, 1932 in El Rosario, Sinaloa, Mexico and she was a Ventura County resident for 52 years coming form Fort Hood Texas.
Isabel was a teacher's aide for 12 years at Blanche Reynolds Elementary School. She was active at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church and a member of the Y.L.I. and the Guadalapuna Society. She taught Catechism at Our Lady of the Assumption School for many years. She looked forward to traveling to Mexico and spending time with her family there. She enjoyed working in her flower garden.
Isabel is survived by her son Carlos Dominguez and his partner Maiya McLean, of Ventura; her sister: Rosario Olaiz, of Arizona; her grandchildren: Daniel and Lewis; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Carlos N. Dominguez; her sons: Danny Dominguez and Jerry Dominguez; her parents: Jesus and Trinidad Lopez; and her brothers: Jesus Lopez and Beto Lopez.
Family and friends are invited to visit from 4:00 to 8:00pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 E. Main Street, Ventura. A Most Holy Rosary will be recited at 6:00pm on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 in the Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church. 3175 Telegraph Road, Ventura. Burial will follow at Ivy Lawn Memorial Park, Ventura.
