Christopher D. “Chris” Rodgers, of Bedford, New Hampshire, formerly of Medford, passed away on Friday, March 9th.
Chris was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He graduated from St. Clement High School in Medford, with the Class of 1989 and St. Anselm College of Manchester, New Hampshire, with the Class of 1993, where he had a very successful career in basketball. He then went on to work in the I.T. field for People Soft and Oracle as an Account Executive.
Chris was the beloved son of Karen (Crane) and Joseph Brisbois Jr. of Wilmington. He was the beloved grandson of the late Virginia and Edward Crane and Mary and Doug Rodgers. Chris was the devoted nephew and loved dearly by Linda Crane and her late husband Russell, Jack and Eddie Crane, Arlene and Paul Orso. He was the devoted great nephew of Gloria DiSilva and Elena Dankens. Chris also leaves behind his beloved cousins, Laura O’Neal, Eleanor Downing, Jamie West, Tom and Michael Crane, Regan Feinman, Angela Correnti, Carol Ford, and Pam Fitzgerald. He is also survived by Shannon, Courtney, and B. Doug Rodgers.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Saturday, March 17th at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Avenue, Wilmington at 11AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 through 8PM. Interment will be held privately.
