Katherine B. McNeill (Boyle), age 81 of Canton, formerly of Cohasset and Pocasset passed away March 13th surrounded by her loving family at Cornerstone in Canton. Born and raised in Brighton, she graduated from St. Columbkille High School and Boston Clerical School. She worked as an Administrative Assistant for IBM for many years and later as the Director of Contracts for Infinium Software in Hyannis. Her husband Jimmy, also from Brighton, was the love of her life as were her six children and seven grandchildren. Most recently, Kay lived at the Villages in Florida for several years where she was a member of the Celtic Club and Red Sox Nation.
Beloved wife of the late James E. ‘Jimmy’ McNeill. Left to cherish her memory are Marycarol McBain and her husband Philip of Westwood; Christine Callahan and her husband David of Holland, PA; James ‘Jay’ McNeill and his wife Cristina of Dublin, Ireland; John ‘Jack’ McNeill and his wife Hillary of Boston; Michael McNeill of Houston, TX, and Katherine "Kate" Paquin and her husband Michael of Apex, NC. She is also survived by her sister Mary M. Boyle of Norwood and John T. Boyle of Marshfield. Beloved nana to Brendan McNeill, MaryKate, Daniel, and Michael James Callahan, and Matthew, Caroline, and Katie Paquin. Kay was kind, strong in faith, and dedicated to her family. She loved having fun and had a passion for travel and golf and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Funeral from the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Saturday morning at 9, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton at 10 am. Visiting hours at the funeral home Friday 3-7 pm. Burial private.
