Henry L. Simpson, 68, of Irwinville, Georgia, died Saturday, March 10, 2018, in Turner County.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Monday, March 12, 2018, at Pinetta Baptist Church in Irwin County with Bro. David Sumner officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Sunday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mr. Simpson was born February 5, 1950, in Cochran, Georgia, to the late James David & Lorene Harp Simpson. He was a truck driver for Ross of Georgia. He enjoyed hog baying with his dogs and loved to fish. Mr. Simpson was a member of Pinetta Baptist Church.
He is survived by his children: Stephen Anthony Simpson of Atlanta, Christopher Allan Simpson of Irwinville, Michael Lee Simpson of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Lakelin Danielle Simpson of Irwinville; three grandchildren: Corbin Andruw Simpson, Kylee Simpson, and Braden Simpson; two brothers: Bobby Simpson of Fitzgerald and Herman & Lisa Simpson of Fitzgerald; and one sister, Anna Laura & Charles Market of Anniston, Alabama. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers James F. Simpson and Kenneth Roger Simpson.
