Mary G. (Gormley) Paul, age 92 of Brockton died peacefully, Sunday March 4, 2018 at the Braemoor Health Center. She was the wife of the late Daniel M. Paul and daughter of the late Philip and Rose (Lauchran) Gormley.
Mary was born, raised and educated in Greenock, Scotland and had been a resident of Brockton since 1958. Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed winters in Florida and bingo. Fun loving and generous, Mary enjoyed watching children learn to swim in her backyard pool.
Mary is survived by her children, Philip Paul and his longtime companion Sue Ann Choate of Brockton and Deborah Paul of Fall River and the late Daniel and Eugene Paul, both of Brockton. She is survived by six grandchildren, great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mary was the sister of Jean Thompson of Bridgewater and the late Philip and Archie Gormley and Rose Johnson.
Visiting hours will held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (rte. 123) Brockton on Thursday, 4-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery.
