Obituary

Patricia A. Cook Martucci, 71, died Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Hopkins Manor in North Providence. Widow of James Cook and Peter Martucci.

Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Elizabeth (McCaffrey) Ryder. She lived in Glocester and Greenville for much of her life.

She had worked as a payroll clerk for Worcester Textiles and later Mt. St. Rita in Cumberland.

She was a devoted hockey mom, she loved cats and dogs and loved to travel to New Hampshire, her home away from home.

She is survived by her sons: David Cook and his wife, Nicole, of Smithfield, Kevin Cook and his wife, Melissa of Chagrin Falls, OH and Brian Cook and his wife, Serih, of Seattle, WA, her grandchildren: David, Kyle, Aedan and Keegan Cook. She also leaves her husband Peter’s family, Peter and Karen Martucci of Scituate, Donna and Joseph Corsi of Smithfield and Joseph Martucci of Glocester, and their children and grandchildren: Ryan and Matthew Jardin, Christine Corsi, Derek Joyal and Nicole Simpanen and Alison and Madison Manco. She was the sister of the late Jack Ryder.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 10:30am from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will in Acote’s Hill Cemetery, Chepachet. Visitation will be Thursday 9:30-10:30am.
