Harry J. Thibeault, 58 of Whitman, died suddenly on Wednesday March 7, 2018 in Brockton.
Harry was born February 29, 1960 in Brockton.
He was the beloved son of the late Harry W. and Ruth E. (Smith) Thibeault of Brockton.
Harry worked for LeBaron Foundry and Specialty Inc. in Brockton for 32 years. He held a second job at Walter’s Mobile Garage in Brockton, MA, working as an auto mechanic for over 25 years. Most recently Harry worked as a mail courier at Stonehill College in Easton, and is a former employee of Insta-Brite Mobile Washing in Whitman.
Harry graduated from Brockton High School class of 1978.
Harry enjoyed ten-pin bowling at Harry’s Westgate Lanes in Brockton, and was recently inducted into the Brockton Bowlers Hall of Fame. Previously he was listed into the National Bowlers Hall of Fame in St. Louis, MO for his perfect games.
His hobbies included working on cars and attending car shows. Most of all Harry enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
Harry was the loving husband of Karen J. (Snow) Thibeault for 30 years, devoted father of Derick A. Thibeault of Brockton, Amanda J. Thibeault and her partner Benjamin Black of Brockton and Kevin J. Thibeault of Whitman, adoring grandfather of Marissa A. Black, loving brother of Deborah J. (Thibeault) Butler and her husband William of Easton and Scott E. Thibeault of Brockton. Harry is also survived by his mother-in-law, Charlene Snow of Whitman and was the proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. He was the former husband of Kimberly (Clark) Lariviere of Brockton and pre-deceased by his father-in-law the late Arnold K. Snow of Whitman.
Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on SATURDAY MARCH 17 from 1-4 followed by a service of prayer at Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St (Rte. 58 @the rotary circle) Whitman.
