Thomas Ray Wright, Sr., 73, of Louisville, passed at his home on March 5, 2018.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jim Henry and Sara Frances (Smith) Wright; by a brother, Charles Owen Wright and a sister in law, Mary Wright.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Frankie; three children, Bonnie G. Wright of Nashville, TN, Helen F. Cartwright and Thomas R. Wright Jr of Louisville; one sister, Laverne R. Risen of Louisville; brothers, James (Ann) of Summitville, IN, Bobby Joe and Eugene (Lou) of Louisville; one sister-in-law, Bonnie J. Hibbs of Louisville; ten grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; 20 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
Thomas moved to Louisville as a teen and became a master plumber by his early twenties. He was a very hard worker who would do what he could to help out family and friends. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He loved spending time in the outdoors with his long time group of friends. He will be missed by all who really knew him.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 10 at 1 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens (West). Visitation will be Friday, March 9 at 1 P.M. until 8 P.M.
