In Taunton, March 1, 2018 Marjorie E. Corr, age 96, passed away peacefully in Taunton Nursing Home. Marjorie was the loving wife of the late John Corr. She was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Samuel & Murial (Rogers) McClellan. Marjorie was a lifelong resident of Taunton. She was employed as a secretary for several local companies. Marjorie was a member of the Oakland Seniors, the Taunton Ten Pin Senior League and enjoyed playing bingo, cards and was an avid Red Sox fan. Marjorie is survived by her three daughters, Maureen Almeida of Taunton, Jennifer Cianci of West Warwick, RI and Jacqueline “Jackie” Loura of Taunton. She was preceded in death by her three brothers and leaves her ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, MA 02780 on Friday, March 9th from 10-11am. A funeral home service will be at 11am. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. The family would like to thank the Taunton Nursing Home for their kind and compassionate care.
