Horace Jack Johnson age 76, of Paris, MS, died November 3, 2005 in North MS Medical Center at Tupelo, MS.
Mr. Johnson was a retired security guard for Holley Carb. in Water Valley and a member of the First Christian Church of Water Valley, MS. The son of the late Lawrence Les Johnson, Sr. and Maude Loving Johnson, he was born in Water Valley on October 29, 1929.
The family will receive friends at Seven Oaks Funeral Home on Saturday, November 5, 2005 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday afternoon, November 6, 2005 in Henry Chapel at Seven Oaks Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Fowler officiating. Interment will be in Shipp Cemetery in Lafayette County. Serving as pallbearers are: Frank V.Hynous, Rick Fowler, Ronald Morgan, Eddie Reiman, Jr , Bill L. Johnson and Crair Rogers.
Surviving Mr. Johnson are: his wife, Shirley M. Johnson of Paris, MS : daughters- Barbara Tynon of Puyallup, WA - Ellen Bucci of Joliet, IL - Doris "Dee" Fowler of Banner, MS - Linda Morgan of Richland, MO - Carol Reiman of Phillipsburg, MO - Kathy Tartt of Pope, MS: Sons - Jack Johnson of Paris, MS - Mike Johnson of Water Valley, MS - Billy Johnson of Oxford, MS and Victor Johnson of Paris, MS : sister - Jessie Fern "Tootsie" Gusich of Chicago, IL. He is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Les Johnson, Jr.
