WORCESTER/SUTTON___Cynthia L. Fisher, 84, of 81 Chatham Street, died Weds. Feb. 28, 2018 in St. Vincent Hospital. Cynthia was born in Worcester one of four children of Roscoe D. Fisher Sr, and Lois W. (Briel) Fisher and leaves behind a close friend Michael Grow and nieces and a nephew. Cynthia graduated from Sutton High School. In her youth she was a member of First Congregational Church of Sutton and sang in the church choir and also throughout the community.
Ms. Fisher was a secretary for an advertising agency and also for a bank before retiring many years ago. She lived in Florida for many years and returned to Worcester in 1991. Cynthia enjoyed her last years in the care and comfort of the skilled staff of Royal Spring Valley Center, Worcester.
The funeral service is Friday March 9, 2018 at 10:30 AM in DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME. 298 Grafton Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Old Howard Cemetery, Sutton. Contributions in Cynthia’s memory may be made in honor of her grandfather, Rev. Oren Fisher a former pastor of First Congregational Church of Sutton, in care of the church at 307 Boston Rd, Sutton, MA., 01590.
