SOUTH PORTLAND- Jennifer Gray Kozaryn, 37, of South Portland, ME, died March 4, at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, ME, of cancer.
She was born in Farmington, ME, on April 6, 1980, the daughter of Deborah Conley Bower and Vern Peter Gray (deceased). She graduated from Berwick Academy, South Berwick, ME; and from St. Lawrence University, Canton, NY. She worked in accounting at Simmons College, Boston, MA; Regis College, Weston, MA; Southern Maine Community College, South Portland, ME; and most recently for Carlson Management Consulting in their South Portland location.
Jennifer excelled in athletics and was an outdoor enthusiast. She competed in ice hockey and National Pony Club Tetrathlon in high school, rugby in college and enjoyed tennis, golf and skiing. She was a voracious reader and animal lover. She will be dearly missed for her no-nonsense attitude and for her deep concern for the environment.
Survivors include her husband, Adam Kozaryn of South Portland; her mother, Deborah (Edward) Bower of Peterborough, NH; her sister, Elizabeth Bower of New York, NY; her maternal grandmother, Ruth Conley of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; an aunt, Martha Eufemia of Wells, ME; other aunts, uncles, two nieces and a nephew, 10 first cousins and her beloved yellow lab, Bingo.
