Rose Sarah Caruso, September 3, 1918 – March 4, 2018 of Dedham, MA formerly of Milford, MA. Beloved daughter of the late Avades and Bagzada Ohanessian. Loving wife of the late Nicholas Caruso for 70 years.
Rose was as dedicated to her work as she was to her family. She was the first in her family to earn a college degree from Becker College in Worcester, MA. She had a successful and long career as administrative assistant to the plant manager of Benjamin Moore Co in Milford with 20 plus years of perfect attendance; and she still had time to sew, knit and crochet beautiful clothing for her family. She and her husband Nick were avid walkers and enjoyed their retirement in the sun, surf and walking the boardwalk of Hollywood Beach, FL.
She was the loving mother of John Caruso and his wife Valerie of Boynton Beach, FL, Nancy Caruso of Dedham, and Joyce Caruso and her wife Ashley Tyler of Newburyport. Devoted sister of the late John Ohanessian, the late Pauline and her husband Kamel George, and the late Sarah Ohanessian. Grandmother of Matthew Caruso and his wife Emily of NY, Adam Caruso and his wife Roxanne of VA, and Alexander Caruso of FL. Great-grandmother of Soren and Declan Caruso of NJ. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Rose passed away in a peaceful rest completing her “99” year journey on this earth.
A private funeral service will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., DEDHAM, Friday, Mar. 9 followed by interment in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
