Frederick E. Juden, Jr., 74, of Salem, passed away peacefully at his home in Boston on Thursday, March 1, 2018 following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was the devoted husband of the late Regina P. (Niemczyk) Juden.
Born in Kingston, Ontario, and raised in Salem, he was the son of the late Frederick E. and Antoinette (Gauthier) Juden. A graduate of Salem High and served stateside with the U.S Navy during the early 1960’s. Fred was a self employed freight forwarding logistics consultant. For over 50 years he worked in international trade for several companies, including Everglory Logistics. Fred enjoyed every minute spent working in his field. He was the complete first class man, a world traveler, a passionate sailor and was staunch Chicago Bears fan. Fred was a long time member of the Jubilee Yacht Club of Beverly.
He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Marie Juden of Boston, his son, Jeffrey D. Juden of Swampscott, two grandsons, Fredrick P. and Dalton C. Juden of Swampscott as well as his devoted four legged pal, Daisy. He was predeceased by his daughter, Kimberly Ann Juden and his brother Daniel Juden.
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass in St. James Church, 156 Federal St., Salem on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM. There will be no visiting hours and burial will be private.
