WEST SPRINGFIELD ~ Deven Jonathan “Dev” Girard, 25, of West Springfield passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. He was born in Springfield on April 13, 1992 and was raised in West Springfield where he lived his entire life. Dev was a free spirit with an infectious smile that brought smiles to those around him and he enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved the outdoors, enjoyed fishing and astronomy and was a lover of animals especially his beloved dog, Elsa Marie. He leaves his beloved mother, Sherry A. (Girard) Iott and her husband, Dale C. Iott; his loving father, Matthew Tosh and his partner, Kimberly Crane; his cherished brothers, Tyler J. Girard and his partner, Brittany Sawyer and Matthew Tosh, Jr.; his cherished sisters, Alyssa J. Tosh and Alexis B.Tosh; his step-brother, Alec Iott and his partner Sarah Kay; his grandparents, Donna Travis, Margaret I. Phillips and her husband, Max and Terrance and Susan Tosh; his aunts, Sharleen L. Girard and Shannon M. Cusson and her partner, David Hiskins; his cousins, Travis M. Cusson and his partner, Sierra Davis, Tavis Hiskins and Athena Cusson; and his many close friends. His family has requested that you wear Dev’s favorite colors blue or tie-dye and please wear a pair of crazy socks.
