John A. Deyeso, Jr., 65 of Londonderry, NH died Tuesday February 27, 2018 at his home. John was born in Malden, MA on September 3, 1952, a son of the late John A. and Carmela (Torino) Deyeso. He had resided in Londonderry since 1986, formerly living in Medford, MA. John graduated from Boston State College with a Bachelor of Science degree. He was a third-generation rail road locomotive engineer and retired from Keolis. John had also worked for B & M and Amtrak railways.
John was an avid runner, enjoyed summers on Cape Cod, boating on Suncook Lake and Cobbetts Pond, and spending time with family and close friends.
He is survived by his wife, Marian “Mitzie” (Joyce) Deyeso of Londonderry, two sons, John Deyeso, III and his wife Briana of Philadelphia, PA, and Alexander Deyeso of Londonderry, one daughter, Bridget Deyeso of Londonderry, and one sister, Sharon Deyeso of Medford, MA. John also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many great friends.
Calling hours were held on Sunday March 4, 2018 from 1 – 4 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at 10:30 am at St. Mark Church, One South Rd., Londonderry with cremation to follow.
