Mike John, 103, formerly of 42 South St. died Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Jewish Healthcare Center.
His wife, Eleanor T. (Flynn) John died in 1991. He leaves five children, Doris L. Piscitelli, Ellie M. Sbrogna, Shirley Covington, Richard P. John and Michael T. John; 19 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by three grandchildren.
Mr. John was born in Albania and arrived in America in 1920. He was the owner and operator of Busy Bee Grill in Worcester. He was also involved in real estate properties and most recently worked as a machinist for Rockwood Sprinkle Co., retiring several years ago.
He was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.
The funeral will be held Monday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. is directing arrangements.
