Nan (Dora) Connolly, a 3 year resident of Revere and former 28 year resident of East Boston and longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Boston Medical Center in Boston. She was 65 years of age.
Nan was born in Boston on March 18, 1952, a daughter of the late Cecil Dora and Agnes (Graham) Dora. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School. Nan dedicated herself as a Nurses Aide for over 10 years at the Chelsea Soldiers Home in Chelsea. Her pride and joy in life was her family and she cherished the special times she was able to spend with each one of them.
Nan is the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Connolly. She is the devoted mother of Kimberly Kelly and Edwin J. White III and his wife Monica. She is the loving Grandmother to Mckayla and Nardia. She is the beloved sister of Shirley Donovan, William Dora, John Dora, Cindy Adams and Elizabeth Shepard. She is also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Nan's Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 10 A.M. in The Most Holy Redeemer Church, 65 London St. East Boston. Her burial will be private.
