Nadia R. Chilton 19, of New Bedford died unexpectedly February 26, 2018 in Brockton. She was born, raised and educated in Brockton prior to moving to New Bedford.
Our beautiful Nadia, taken from us way too soon. Nadia loved her family and is so, so loved by them. She was so free spirited. She wanted to be a nurse, to help others. Nadia loved clothes, especially Victoria’s Secret. She loved all kinds of foods, mostly her chocolate. Nadia had a big heart of gold. She had a beautiful smile. She loved to laugh and her laugh was contagious and would make others laugh. She loved to be herself and act silly, especially on her social media.
Nadia has made her final journey through this life. Our lives will never be the same without her physical presence here with us, but she will be with us forever in our hearts and minds. We know she is in Heaven with those who have gone before her. She, Dougy and her Uncle Ethan are together. May she fly with them and all of the other angels, until we meet again one day.
Nadia is survived by her father John Cruz of New Bedford and step mother Nichole Lynch of Brockton, her mother Naomi Chilton of Fall River, her brother Jaylon N. Cruz of Brockton and sister Jalissa N. Cruz of Taunton, her grandmothers Melody Cruz of Brockton and Janet R. Chilton of Maryland and her grandfather Anibal C. Cruz of Puerto Rico, her aunts Franchesca and Ramona Cruz, Anita Martinez and Dimariz Ortiz, Tonya Doane and uncle Domingo Ildefonso and her cousins Dashawn Cruz, Estraya Leslie, DaQuan Ildefonso, Dimaray Ortiz and Melena Ildefonso as well as a host of many more family members and lots of friends.
Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Friday 4-7 pm with a family sharing service immediately following. All services to conclude at 8 pm.
