Robert E. Mayo, Jr., 42, of Dartmouth, died Sunday, February 25, 2018 unexpectedly at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of Nielle (Cross) Mayo.
Born in New Bedford, the son of Robert E. and Sharon A. (Patnaude) Mayo, he lived in Dartmouth most of his life. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.
Mr. Mayo was employed by Titleist for 24 years.
He enjoyed attending his sons' sporting events, golf and traveling to Jamaica.
Survivors include his wife; his parents; 2 sons, Colin R. Mayo and Aidan R. Mayo, both of Dartmouth; 3 sisters, Sharon Larsen of Westminster, CO, Elizabeth Medeiros of Efland, NC and Cheryl Tavares of Dartmouth; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 5th at 11 AM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 4th from 4-8 PM.
