Velia (DelPriore) DeCarli, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on Feb. 27, 2018. Born in Mason City, Iowa 96 years ago, Velia grew up in Wisconsin and Italy. She was a resident of South Boston before moving to Milton where she lived for over 62 years. During WWII she was a Welder and Sander for Clifford Manufacturing Co. Beloved wife of the late Arthur. Devoted mother of Mark H. DeCarli and his wife, Barbara J. of Bridgewater, Arthur P. DeCarli of Weymouth, Marlene F. DeCarli of Milton, Jean DeCarli and Joan DeCarli both of Weymouth. Loving grandmother of Michelle Allana Dolan of Brockton and 3 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Pia D’Andrea, Livia Malgioglio, Clelia DeFrancesco, Dominic DelPriore , Joseph DelPriore and the late Ines Colangelic. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton Tuesday morning at 10. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, 326 Granite Av., Milton Monday 3 to 7pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
