Olivia F. Guglietti, 91, of Church Street, Greenville, went home to God on Monday, February 26, 2018. She was the widow of Vincent A. Guglietti.
Olivia was the cherished matriarch and pillar of her family. Olivia adored her grandkids and never missed an opportunity to speak about their various accomplishments. There was not a single person who met her that she did not leave a lasting impression on. She was the kind word and comforting shoulder for anyone in need and she left everyone she met better off for having met her. She will be greatly missed.
Born in Pawtucket, she was one of 15 children of the late Antonio and Olivia (Rodgers) Mauricio. She had lived in Greenville for 20 years. She had previously lived in North Providence. She was a 1944 graduate of Pawtucket West High School.
She is survived by her daughters: Teresa Votta and her husband, John of Smithfield, Olivia M. Guglietti of Lincoln, her granddaughters: Justine Tague, Alexandria Votta, Chelsie Tague, Reanna Votta and Christina Votta, a great grandson, Vincenzo Finley and her siblings: Bertha Laliberte and Irene Arcand both of Manville, Manuel Mauricio of Pawtucket, Mabel Genereau of Cranston, Maria West of California, Antonio Mauricio of Las Vegas, Joseph Mauricio of San Diego, James Mauricio of Alpine, California, George Mauricio of San Francisco and Stephen Mauricio of Las Vegas, NV. She was the sister of the late John, William, Norman and Franklin Mauricio.
Her funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday at 9:00 from the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in RI Veteran’s Cemetery, Exeter. Visitation will be from 8 - 9 am.
