John R. Moreau, 70, formerly of Laconia and Concord, NH died peacefully on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at his home in Indianapolis, IN.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Diane (Breton) Moreau of Indianapolis, IN; his son James of San Diego, CA; his daughter Andrea Moreau-O'Donnell, son-in-law Kerry O’Donnell, and beloved granddaughter, Eliana O’Donnell of Indianapolis, IN; and son Michael Moreau and his fiance, Elizabeth Duermit of Gainesville, FL.
Born on July 30, 1947 in Springfield, MA to Henry and Cecile Moreau, John graduated from Cathedral High School in 1966 and matriculated from the UCONN School of Pharmacy in 1971. The third of seven children, John is predeceased by his parents and older brothers, Paul Moreau of Springfield, MA and Roger Moreau of St. Paul, MO.
John proudly worked as a pharmacist for 46 years. He started his career at Lakes Region General Hospital, where he met Diane. John was passionate about his work and proud of his family and the lives they have created. John was an avid reader, history and railroad buff, and long-time Sci-fi nerd. He loved to travel, play cribbage and most of all, spend time with his family.
Calling hours will be held from 6PM to 8PM on Friday March 2, 2018 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia NH, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday March 3, 2018 at St. Andre Bessette Parish- Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia.
