Warren L. Shield, age 87, of Dedham, formerly of Westwood passed away February 24th. Born in Boston, he was raised in Jamaica Plain and graduated from Boston University. Warren served in the United States Air Force for over 20 years, retiring as a Major. He was the Assistant Clerk, Commonwealth of MA Appeals Court for many years before retiring in 1997. Beloved husband of the late Margaret M. (Gerrity). Son of the late Edith F. and Dr. Warren S. Shields. Relatives and friends invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Chestnut Hill Thursday morning at 10. Visiting hours omitted, burial private.
