Martha Stinson, 85, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Life Care Center in Fitzgerald.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Old Valley Grove Cemetery in Irwin County with Jerry Turner officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Monday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Stinson was born June 15, 1932, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Charles Keith & Mary Inez Dill Pedrick. She was a graduate of Fitzgerald High School and a homemaker. Mrs. Stinson was a member of Callie Garbutt Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Lewis Stinson of Haddock; daughter, Maryann & Glendale Martin of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Daniel & Lacey Martin, Terry Martin, Sarina & Josh Kent, and Sam Stinson; and great-grandchildren: Devin Martin, Kimber Kent, and Gunter Kent. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, B.L. Stinson; and four brothers: Charles Pedrick, Keith Pedrick, Jack Pedrick, and Gene Pedrick.
