Frank Tavilla, 92, of Natick, died Friday, February 23, 2018.
Frank was born in Messina, Italy October 22, 1925, he was son of the late Antonino and Giuseppa Tavilla. He is also predeceased by his brother Giuseppe Tavilla, and sister Carmela Ciccarello.
In March of 1972, Frank and his family came to the United States and settled with their family in Natick, Massachusetts. A hard worker and dedicated family man, Frank worked for the Town of Wellesley to provide for his growing family. Through the years, Frank watched his children become grown ups and begin families of their own.
He loved to garden, fish and spend time with family.
Frank is survived by his loving wife Tina (Ricca) Tavilla of Natick, his son Anthony Tavilla and wife Josephine and their children Stella, Bruno, Emma and Luca Tavilla all of Natick. Frank’s daughter, Josephine D’Arrigo and husband Stefano and their children William D’Arrigo of Natick, Angela Rios and husband Giovanny of Ashland and their children Valentina and Sabrina Rios. Many nieces and nephews also survive him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Wednesday, February 28, at 9:00 A.M. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street, at Natick Common, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Patrick's Church at 10:00 A.M.
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 400:to 7:00 P.M.
Interment St Patrick Cemetery.
