Obituary

Stephen Sinko, 86, died Saturday, February 24, 2018. Born in Hungary on July 18, 1931 he was son of the late Joseph Sinko and Gizala Gyory Sinko, husband of the late Elizabeth K Lukcsy Sinko, father of the late infant son George.

Elizabeth’s and Stephens adventure began on November 12, 1956 with a train trip to the Hungarian border. From Austria, the young couple flew to America that winter. At Camp Kilmer, Stephen and Elizabeth were married and soon traveled to a hotel in Boston to begin their new life in the area. Fortuitously, they found their way to Natick where they bought a home and raised their four boys. Elizabeth encouraged him to take that good job at the GM plant in Framingham in 1964. Together they shared a good life, watching with pride as their sons married, had children, and contributed to their communities. After Elizabeth passed in 2009, eventually Stephen moved into the Eliot Center for Health and Rehab in Natick.

Survived by his son Stephen and his wife Carol of Franklin, their son Stephen and his wife Kimberly of Hopedale and their daughters Sydney and Emerson and his daughter Catherine, their daughter Sarah of Douglas; his son George of Bellingham; his son Joseph and his wife Cathy; and his son Laszlo and his wife Patricia and their children Olivia, Vincent, and Faith.
