Mary A. (Perry) Harrison, 94, of Westport passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Center.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone G. and Mary D. (Benevides) Perry, she was a lifelong resident of Westport. She was a graduate of Westport High School, Class of 1941. Prior to retirement in 1986, she had worked for F.W. Woolworth, Inc for many years. Mrs. Harrison was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport, where she was a member of the Women's Guild and the Union of Prayer. She was also a member of the Our Lady of Grace Senior Society, the Westport Senior Society, the Portuguese American Civic League, the Holy Ghost Club of Westport and the Westport Holy Ghost Society.
She is survived by her sister: Lucinda Mello of Westport; a brother-in-law: Joseph Mello of Westport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was mother of the late Ronald Harrison and sister of the late Helen L. Mello and Alfred Perry.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from the Potter Funeral Home at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. George Church, Westport at 10 AM.
Calling hours Tuesday 5 - 8 PM.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
