In Taunton, February 22, 2018 Wilma (Pottier) Grandmont wife of the late LCDR Alfred Grandmont passed away at Morton Hospital at the age of 87. Born in Providence, RI, Wilma was the daughter of the late William and Rosalie (Bury) Pottier. She was a retired medical secretary for her late brother Dr. David Pottier and also worked at Filenes in the Taunton Galleria Mall. She was a former member at the Polish American Citizens Club in Taunton and the Girls club of America. Wilma was the loving mother of Alfred Grandmont Jr. and his wife Laurie of Buzzards Bay, Candia Grandmont of Taunton, Mark Grandmont of Taunton and the late Jana Grandmont. Grandmother of Megan, William, Evan, Keara and Kelan. Great Grandmother of Braylan and McKenzie. Sister of the late Dr. David Pottier. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home 70 Washington Street in Taunton on Wednesday, February 28th from 5-7 pm. A graveside service will be held at the National Cemetery in Bourne, MA on Thursday March 1st at 1:45 pm.
