Robert A. Botellio, age 54, a lifelong resident of Taunton passed away tragically, as the result of a fire at his residence on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
Born in Taunton, MA on January 27, 1964, he was a loving son of the late Robert A. and Phyllis M. (Rose) Botellio.
Bob grew up in Taunton and was a 1982 graduate of Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical High School in Taunton. He had been employed as a welder at In Metal in Sharon.
Bob was a kind and gentle man who will be sadly missed by the many friends that cared for him and loved him dearly. He loved the great outdoors, which included hunting, fishing, golfing and grilling. Bob was also an avid Patriots fan.
He was the brother of Kathleen Cabral of Lakeville, Richard Botellio, Sr., Jayne Botellio of Waterville, Maine and Elaine Gonet of South Yarmouth. He was the uncle of Richard, Jr., Robert, Christine, Elizabeth, April, Victoria and Brittany, and is also survived by 2 grand nieces, 2 grand nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Friday, March 9th at 10:30 A.M. at the Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton
