TEWKSBURY - Margaret F. (Corso) Musto, age 80, an active member of Tewksbury’s senior
community and resident of town for five decades, died Thursday afternoon, Nov. 3, at Lahey Clinic
Medical Center in Burlington, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Americo V. Musto,
who died in 1987.
She was born in Boston, on September 26, 1925, a daughter of the late Severio and Anastasia
(Mercurio) Corso. She was raised in Boston’s West End, and had lived in Somerville before
moving to Tewksbury in 1956. As a resident of Tewksbury she was a communicant of St.
William’s Church. In her recent years, she was a frequent visitor to the Tewksbury Public
Library, and the Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center, and a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age
Club. Throughout her life, she was an avid reader.
Mrs. Musto was retired from Wang Laboratories where she had worked as computer assembler.
She is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Patricia and her husband Robert Taglilatelo of
Medford, Beverly Musto Merrimack, NH; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul Musto and his wife
Deborah (Rawling) of Westford; a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa Bowes and her husband
Andrew of Somerville; three grandchildren, Robert and Erin Musto of Westford, David Musto of
Merrimack, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late John Corso, Joseph Corso, Mary Costa, and Angie Fazio.
Her
Funeral Mass wascelebrated, Nov. 7, in St. William’s Church, Tewksbury.
Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Memorials to the Little Sisters of the Poor, Jeanne Jugan Residence, 186 Highland Ave.,
Somerville, MA 02143-1595, will be appreciated.
