Lucille (Trevisone) Spadafora passed away at home on February 19, 2018. She was 72 years old.
Born and raised in Malden, Lucille was a lifelong resident of the city. She grew up in the Suffolk Square section of Malden with her parents, Albert and Frances Trevisone and her three siblings. Lucille graduated from Malden High School and was the former owner of the Venus Villa Beauty Salon. She managed the Spadafora Funeral Home and was very involved with the Malden Kiwanis and YWCA. Lucille was a strong, independent businesswoman, but more importantly she was an amazing daughter, mom, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She was known and loved by many and will be dearly missed by all.
Lucille was the beloved mother of Michele Settemio and her husband William and Anthony Spadafora Jr. and his wife Gina. She was the dear sister of Ralph Trevisone and his wife Jean of Georgia, Francine Spadafora and her husband Albert of Malden, and the late Nicholas Trevisone. Lucille was the cherished Nana of Amanda and Jaclyn Spayne, Nico and Gianna Spadafora, John Settemio and his wife Krissy and the late Michael Settemio. She was also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, extended family and wonderful friends.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday, February 28th at 9am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church, 297 Main Street, Malden, at 10am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 27th from 4-8pm. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
