Genevieve M. Snider, 4, of Groton, passed away, Sunday, February 18, 2018 at home following a 2-year battle with brain cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.
Genevieve is survived by her mother, Kathryn Snider; her grandparents, Jeffrey and Diane Snider; her great grandmothers, Margaret Morrow and Florence Snider; her Aunt, Sarah Snider and companion Brad Wise; and her great Aunts, Patricia Snider and husband Darin Cox, and Karen Sallavanti and companion Mark Carley.
Genevieve attended St. Andrew Presbyterian Church with her grandparents. She attended the church pre-school and later attended SB Butler Elementary pre-school.
A memorial service will be held at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 310 Fort Hill Rd, Groton on February 23, 2018 at 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center Foundation. Funds designated in memory of Genevieve Snider will be directed towards pediatric brain cancer research and early tumor detection.
