Carl F. Raimondi, 82, of Natick, died Sunday February 18 with his family by his side at Metro West Medical Center in Framingham. He was the beloved husband of MaryJeanne (Serrecchia) Raimondi sharing 59 years of marriage. Born in Newton, he was the son of the late Peter and Margarita (Spriano) Raimondi.
Mr. Raimondi was employed with the Digital Equipment Corporation as Department Head of its vast Import and Export Division. He later worked for Framingham State College as Purchasing Manager retiring in 2013.
Carl was devoted to his Catholic Faith and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus which provides help and charity to those in need. He rose though all the ranks in the Knights, including Fourth Degree and was named Grand Knight and served in various State Offices. He was also a dedicated member of the Natick Elks and was Exalted Ruler, named a Life Member, and served in numerous committees.
He was a lifelong avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son Carl (Chuck) Raimondi and his wife Margaret of Brockton, three daughters Suzanne Hart and her husband Thomas of Milford, Jennifer Raimondi and her fiancé Richard Muldoon of North Lauderdale Fl., and Christine Raimondi Wentworh (deceased). Carl had four grandchildren, Carl F."Luke" Raimondi, Matthew Raimondi, Christopher Hart, Megan Hart, and many nieces and nephews.
He was also the brother of Rosemarie Amici and Arnold Raimondi (deceased) .
Visiting hours are Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street at Natick Common.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral on Saturday February 24 at 9:00 A.M from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home 4 Park Street,at Natick Common followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St Linus Church 119 Hartford Street at 10:00 A.M.
