In Taunton, Felix Fuentes, Age 71, passed away at home unexpectedly following a period of failing health. Felix is survived by his loving wife Providencia (Rivera) Fuentes. He was born in Loiza, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Mario & Antonia Fuentes. Felix had resided in Taunton since 1993 and was formerly of Puerto Rico. He was employed as a bishop at the Christian Missionary Church in Taunton for 35 years. Felix enjoyed watching the Red Sox, preaching the word of God and above all cherished the time with family. He is survived by his children, Felix Fuentes of Puerto Rico, Mildred Fuentes of Puerto Rico, Carolyn Fuentes of New Bedford, Nancy Fuentes of Taunton, Yomaris Fuentes of CT, Yeissy Fuentes of Taunton and his late son Melvin Fuentes. He also leaves his three sisters and two brothers and 27 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. A church service will be held on Monday, February 26th at 11 am. at the Christian Missionary Church, 76 Church Green, Taunton, MA 02780. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 4-8 pm. Burial will be in Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton. Arrangements are under the care of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
