Jessie N. Formicola died peacefully at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center of Medford. She was 92. Born and raised in Boston’s North End, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Assunta (Giuliano) Formicola. Her family moved to Medford in 1941 and lived on Harvard St. She graduated from Medford High School and enjoyed a long career in the marketing department in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. She was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her niece and nephews.
The devoted sister of the late Edith Letty, Constance Letty and Olympia Formicola, Jessie was a dear and loving aunt to Robert Letty and his wife Beverly, Richard Letty, Donald Letty, Clifford Letty and his wife Jane, Diane Peterson and her late husband Mark. She was a loving great-aunt to Megan and Melissa Peterson.
Family and friends may visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday, February 21st from 10 to 11 AM with a service in the funeral home at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery, Roslindale. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
