Kenneth R. “Kenny” Lataille, Sr., 59, of Woonsocket died Thursday February 15, 2018 at Landmark Medical Center.
Born in Woonsocket he was a son of the late Armand and Audrey (Newton) Lataille. He was a lifelong resident of the city.
Kenny worked for Polar Ice Company and later in maintenance at the Fairfield Inn both in Milford.
Kenny was a motorcycle enthusiast and an avid CB radio operator. He also enjoyed camping and traveling especially trips to New Hampshire.
Kenny will be remembered as a devoted dad and grandfather. He had an outgoing and friendly personality and was a real jokester.
Kenny is survived by a daughter Tina A. Asstafan and her husband Sam of Woonsocket and two sons Kenneth R. Lataille, Jr and his wife Leslie of Woonsocket and Timothy J. Lataille and his wife Angela of Blackstone. He is also survived by his children’s mother Annette R. (Degre) Lataille of Ohio. He was the brother of Earl, George, and Armand Lataille, Deborah Newton, Suzanne Spaulding, Linda Kelvy, Janice Gilbert and Jean Gross and the late Jeannette Lafleur. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 1 great- grandson and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Visiting hours will be Monday from 5-7 pm with a prayer service at 7:00 pm in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will be private.
