Jon was born in Quincy, Massachusetts, on February 22, 1953. He grew up East Bridgewater. He attended Boston University and completed a B.A in Biology with honors. He settled into a career of research and development in the biological sciences, having worked at a number of Biotech firms and university settings including Boston University, Mass General, Harvard Medical School, Millennium Pharmaceutical, and EMD, making many meaningful contributions to the science involved with MRI, cardiovascular disease, and assorted cancers. He was a passionate man, full of opinions on every subject. His mind was brilliant and sharp. Jon married, and had two beautiful daughters, whom he loved more than life. His wife and his girls were the jewels of his life and he followed all of their accomplishments with overwhelming pride. Jon enjoyed the outdoors and the New England seasons. He was fond of skiing and of taking long walks in the Arboretum. He enjoyed complicated fantasy reads and he was a talented artist. He loved his music and his guitar. Our love for Jon has no end to its depth. He was a good man, a man committed to his family in love.
