Laconia-----Christine E. DeLucca, 87, of 2217 Parade Road died at her home on Thursday, February, 15, 2018.
Christine was born April 4, 1930 on her family's dairy farm, 1261 Old North Main Street, in Laconia, the daughter of William O. and Florence E. (Chase) Pearson. Christine was a former member of the Belknap County 4H and the Laconia Grange.
Christine married Roland "Sonny" DeLucca, Sr. on April 30, 1947. They subsequently jointly operated the DeLucca Dairy Farm on Parade Road with her husband's parents, Louis and Mildred DeLucca.
In the early 60's she helped the DeLucca family build and operate the Aquedahtan Par 3 Golf Course now the Tavern 27. Christine retired from the Laconia State School with twenty nine years of service. She managed the installation laundry.
Christine is survived by three sons, Roland "Ron" DeLucca Jr. and his wife Sherry, of Clarksville, Tenn., Edward “Ted” DeLucca and Harold DeLucca and his wife, Donna, all of Laconia; eight grandchildren; Gregg, Bradley, Deidre, David, Adam, Erica, Edward, Jr and Kim; thirteen great grandchildren; Kylie, Cassy, Derrick, Ashley, Damion, Austin, Alex, Noah, Sophia, Dean, Jolee, Jaron and Alex Kelly; a sister, Mrs. Earline Sanborn, of Laconia and several nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, Christine is predeceased by her husband, of 62 years, Roland "Sonny" DeLucca, Sr., a grandson, Raymond DeLucca, brothers, Russell, Milton, Verne and Malcom Pearson and sisters, Madeline Hart and Marjorie Taylor.
A Calling hour will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 from 10:00am - 11:00am in the Carriage House of the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH.
A Funeral Service will follow the calling hour at 11:00am on Tuesday February 20, 2018 also at the Funeral Home.
Spring burial will be in the family lot in Union Cemetery, Laconia, N.H.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
