W. Sue Floyd, 94, died February 14, 2018 at Rawlins House in Pendleton following an extended illness.
Sue was born on May 20, 1923 in Kempton, Indiana, the daughter of Carmel "Tic" and Madge (Long) Tunis. She graduated from Kempton High School and worked as a bookkeeper for several area businesses. She later worked as a realtor for Holden Realty from 1977- 2012. She was a long time member of Bethany Christian Church, the American Association of Business Women-Anderson Chapter, and the Kikthawenund Chapter of D.A.R. She enjoyed playing cards, having movie nights with friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Cary A. (wife, Jeanne) Floyd and Rebecca K. (husband Larry) Harkleroad both of Indianapolis; a sister, Marcella Cobb of Anderson, 4 grandchildren; Kelly S. Floyd of St. Louis, Mason (wife Ashlee) Floyd of Brownsburg, Katie (husband Kenny) Young of Indianapolis, and Abbey (husband Derrick) Cooper of Indianapolis; and 6 great grandchildren, Kasen Floyd, Bexley Floyd, Tinley Floyd, Gavin Young, Grant Young, and Grayson Young and several nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband Robert Allen "Bob" Floyd in 2004.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 10 AM at Rozelle Johnson Funeral Service with Bob Bell officiating. Burial will take place at the Kempton Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 3 to 7 PM at the funeral home.
