Mr. Filiberto Guarracino, age 74, of Burlington formerly of Woburn passed away at the Woodbriar Health Center in Wilmington, February 13, 2018, following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Pasqualina (Cammarano) Guarracino. Born in Albanella, Italy he was a son of the late Guiseppe and Maria (Comunale) Guarracino.
Filiberto came to the United States in October of 1976. He worked as a talented stone mason in the construction industry for many years alongside his brother. He enjoyed good food, wine making and of course drinking the wine he created and sharing it with family and friends. His family was his main focus in life and nothing made him happier than to be surrounded by wife, children, grandchildren, and those he loved. He will fondly be remembered for his kindness and always present smile.
In addition to his beloved wife Pasqualina, Filiberto is survived by his sons, Alfonso Guarracino and his wife Stacy of Reading, Guiseppe Guarracino and his wife Gloria of Derry, NH. He was the loving Nonno of Michael A., Marcus A., Makayla and Joseph Guarracino. Cherished brother of Elisa Bastolla and Vincenza Frunzo both of Woburn, Carmine and Jack Guarracino both of Woburn, Sergio Guarracino of Peabody, the late Alfonso and Luigi Guarracino. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., WOBURN, Tuesday, February 20th, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 280 Main St., Woburn, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Services will conclude with burial at Riverside Cemetery, North Reading.
